Pre-Application : Newly made surface to be cured completely. We recommend 30 days of curing time before Appling CERAFIX Wall Putty For existing surface, it should be free from any earlier paint coat, dust etc Growth of microbes to be removed with wire brush and water.
All cracks recommended to be filled with CERAFIX Gap Filler
Holes and dents to be filled using CERAFIX Wall Putty
Cleaning : Ensure that the surface to be painted, is free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss need to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water.
Filling : Surface imperfections such as holes, dents, fine cracks are to be filled with wall putty or a mixture of white cement and fine sand.
Putty : (optional) Smoothen surface by filling dents with thin coats of wall putty. Allow it to dry for 4-6hrs. sand with emery paper. Wipe clean.
Primer : If putty has been used apply a coat of primer to avoid a patchy appearance. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hrs. Sand with emery paper 320 before application of topcoat.
